My final major project for university is called The Brown Butter Project. This project explores how one particular ingredient can serve as a representation of food culture and identity. Brown Butter is unique in terms of its smell, taste and process. It is essentially butter melted until it turns brown and has a hazelnut and chocolate scent. Components I made for this project includes a recipe/project book, A1 infographic poster and an interactive scroll where audiences are invited to write their thoughts, perspectives and opinions down about Brown Butter and food in general.
